Astrae Network · live

The network above the network.

Small satellites and community ground stations, working as one open network. Rent imagery and compute on demand, or run a node and earn for the hours you stay online.

How it works

From your request to orbit and back

1. Uplink

Send a task or an imaging request. The scheduler picks the nearest ground station with a satellite pass in the next few minutes.

2. Orbit

Imaging satellites capture; compute satellites process the data on board, so only results travel, not terabytes of raw frames.

3. Downlink

Results land at a node near you and are delivered to your account. Node operators are rewarded for the uptime they provided.

Run a node

Put a dish on your roof. Earn for uptime.

  1. InstallMount a 0.6–1.2 m antenna and connect the Astrae relay box.
  2. ConnectRegister the node; it joins the pass schedule within an hour.
  3. EarnRewards follow the hours you are reachable during passes.

Roadmap

Five steps outward

  1. 01Genesis constellation

The first nine satellites reach orbit.

  2. 02Open ground stations

    Anyone can register a node.

  3. 03Compute in orbit

Run tasks next to the sensors.

  4. 04Inter-satellite links

    Data hops between satellites.

  5. 05Deep-space relay

    Reach beyond Earth orbit.

Questions

What can I rent?

Earth imagery tiles, short compute jobs on orbital hardware, relay capacity and precise timing.

How do operators earn?

Rewards are based on measured uptime during scheduled passes. Figures shown on this site are illustrative.

Do I need special licences?

Receive-focused nodes usually do not; check local rules for your region before installing.

How fresh is the imagery?

Most regions are revisited several times a day, depending on cloud cover and satellite class.

Who owns the satellites?

Different operators contribute satellites; the network schedules them under shared open rules.

How do I get in touch?

Write to hello@astrae.example and we will reply within two working days.
